Bearded Dragon How Offten Do Bearded Dragonsshit

Picture of the Week 17 / 2010: exorcisms in ZiYun Temple / Taiwan

The relatively small temple in the middle of Taiwan, just east of the city of Chiayi, is not uncommon outside - just like many other temples in Taiwan. A large stone "Laughing Buddha" crawling around on the small stone children, receives the visitors in the parking lot. In the background is a 23 meter high statue of the goddess of mercy Guanyin.

it is interesting for visitors, if in this temple an exorcism performed or if a medium has sunk so deep in a trance, that it does not feel the heat of the incense sticks to the skin.

photo for those interested: All images with Olympus E-P1 , 14-42 mm lens, 1.7 / 20 mm, 2,8 / 45 mm and 45-200 mm.

Haze Paint Color By Behr

camera sunk! Results: A Picture of the Week

course in UW housing, so it will not do without. After more than 15 years ago I first time brought a camera for diving. And it was incredibly great fun, with AF, Preview of the optimal mix of light and advanced wireless flash technology is no comparison to the past.

But why a lot of words, pictures say much more.

At first the darlings of the UW Photographers:
clown fish between sea anemones, at 42 mm

constantly inspiring: What looks like under water, only gray,
is only in the light of flash colorful, at 14 mm

What is that? On a distant planet?
No, just closer to 15 meters. A tube worm,
about 2cm in size. This helped the macro-lens and a good
AF with a small measuring field.

I do not know exactly how this is exactly coral.
In any case, it looks in the right light beautiful.

ran again close with a macro lens:
This slug must find it first,
so small it is. Thanks to my dive guide!
The macro lens shows the all the beauty.

So, who wants to see more, may have a look at my photo gallery . There is still a lot more photos from the depths. Have fun!

How Much Tequila Do You Put In A Margarita Bucket

Photo of the Week 15/2010: Mazu Festival in Taiwan

The goddess Mazu is the patron goddess of seafarers and fishermen, highly revered in China and Taiwan. In almost every village and certainly in every major city can be found for them a temple.
One of the oldest Mazu temples in Taiwan is in Dajia, of course, located on the coast. After an incredibly loud, colorful spectacle begins here for many years, a 7-day Procession through several cities of central Taiwan. Next weekend we go again. Whether I go again, I do not know: Photographically it is a first class experience, but for the ears is the noise of firecrackers, drums and a serious burden.

Steel Seal Did Not Work

Bin resurfaced

In the truest sense of the word: I spent two weeks in Thailand for diving. And is there under water, the Internet connection is not quite so hot, my weekly blog coincided with the photo of the week, first into the water.

But at least I was with camera in the water. The new Olympus E-P1 including appropriate housing was with UW. After 15 years I've photographed the first time under water with great results. Soon more of it at this point. As soon as I've seen the photos.

What is happiness??

Dassssssssss ..

My Grandchild: Darius, born on 25.03.2010 at 8:31 clock.

We are all sooooo happy and thankful for this little treasure.

register with this truly wonderful news I am back in the blog world. Where the last few months were not always so easy for me.
After my last entry started as a chronology of terror. On 20 August, I had to mammography screening, diagnosis was not clear. So an ultrasound was done, then for further clarification of two biopsies, with the result that there are in my left breast microcalcifications, with cells that are unique to cancer. After this finding, I have been advised for surgery, that is, because of the style had to be amputated breast. Date: 23.09.09.
Long story short, I was the first of quite thrown off course, as then was the result of histological examination, I was glad to have taken this step because you could remove everything and the removed lymph nodes were free of cancer cells . I did not need chemotherapy, or radiation therapy.
A rehabilitation program is followed in a few weeks if the right breast corrected and I turn on both sides look the same.
in this, but very difficult time, has confessed to me especially my family to the side, many dear friends and especially my little shooting I have always encouraged and distracted.
many distractions I have experienced through the many visits with you, dear bloggers, worldwide. Secretly, quietly, I read how to do it to you, let me inspire you and a lot of needling and taunting. Where would I be just, if I do not have these hobbies. I will show you a lot in the coming days and weeks before I go back to the garden to remove the winter damage.
But now I wish you all a nice Easter.
