Testing Hsv2 Negative With Candida

still 32 days to Ladakh

Actually, I'm already in vergangegenen year that we have made the trip of my life: 12 days I had Ladakh, the "Little Tibet" in the Indian Himalayas, explored by motorcycle. I had "streets", the three highest pass crossed the world and met wonderful landscapes and friendly people. The link to the photos from last year can be found on the right. Or here.
This year I repeat the dream, but takes much longer and me lead to hidden valleys and remote areas will get lost in the normal tourist track.

Who wants to accompany me "virtually" online is welcome: I have started a blog dedicated "Photos of Ladakh" , in which I would describe my experiences, not only, but also document with many photos. You are welcome to look inside again. Of course you can log on to miss a report. A little about my preparation and planning is already online.

Picture of the Week 22/2010: Taiwan, Taipei - Democracy Square

A Chinese island and democratic? Yes, exactly! If you want to call for Taiwan as a Chinese island. Taiwan (officially: Republic of China), though predominantly Chinese, but would not leave with the communist People's Republic of China into one pot. Since President Ma Ying-jeou took up the post two years ago, relations with the mainland have been significantly improved. But the hot, not that one gives up the Taiwanese identity. Taiwan is proud of its well-functioning democracy, not a few say that it is really the only true democracy in Southeast Asia. In the 5 years now that I live in Taiwan, can I say absolutely anything to the contrary.

A night shot of the place of democracy in Taipei. A huge space, framed by the National Concert Hall right next to National Theatre and the large gate in the middle. The location of the camera is running for a few minutes to get to the gate. From there, offers himself - by day - this view:

The "Chiang Kay Shek Memorial Hall. He fought against Mao's Communists and fled after the defeat of several million people in Taiwan, here installed the "Republic of China on Taiwan. ruled with an iron fist he Taiwan as a dictator, also laid the groundwork for today's wealth of the island republic. Many hate him today for his crimes against the Taiwanese, as many revere him as well as for his undoubted achievements. A difficult balancing act with which the Taiwanese people may live well.
a very interesting TV report about this: What is freedom? Link

Picture of the Week 21/2010: Taiwan meets Europe

A Sunday stroll to the hot springs in the Yangmingshan National Park in Taipei brings amazing insights: it is the mentality of Gnome (einiger. ..) Germans are not limited to Germany. Lots of various Buddha figures in the dwarf format has set up a Taiwanese garden owners. Not with wheelbarrow, fishing and mining lights, no, profane does not do it in Taiwan. A little bit of style must be so.

But a fan of Europe seems to be our garden owners. At least he could ever have been in Brussels, where the (winzige. ..) the Battle of the Belgian capital have admired. And so is now in the Taiwanese National Park a working image of the original Manneken Pis in a holy community.
